Submissions are open for the 2023 Online Journalism Awards between April 20–May 25 via ONA’s submission portal.
We encourage you to review rules and eligibility in full before starting a submission. To help you prepare your submissions, we’ve outlined the information required for each step of the process. The submission form consists of three sections.
This basic contact information allows us to follow-up with questions about your submission, if needed. We also ask about your preferences for notifications and public recognition, should your submission be selected as a finalist. All fields are required unless otherwise noted.
Share information about your submission as it relates to specific category requirements. All fields are required.
Add specific details and background information about the work being submitted. All fields are required. Note: This section is one of the more time-consuming aspects of submitting to the OJAs, so we recommend getting an early start gathering notes about each project.
You may save your submission at any point in the process and return to it to add and/or edit information before the deadline. However, we highly encourage you to collect as much of the required information as possible prior to starting your submission to ensure you have everything submitted by the deadline, 11:59 p.m. EDT (3:59 a.m. UTC) on May 25.
